Welcome to Lagorio's Grill & Bar
The Old town of Farmington, is one of the oldest little towns in San Joaquin County, it is located 13 miles east of Stockton on State Highway 4. In the old days it was called the Sonora Road because it was the main route from Stockton to Sonora. It was a popular route for the teamsters. The teams in the early days were oxen, and there were many stopping places located on this route. The distance between these taverns was one day's good haul. The teamsters had their favorite taverns - some for the food - some for the beds - and often for the pretty young ladies working at the taverns, not a lot has changed in 150 years.

The building where Lagorio's is located was built in the late 1800's as a Blacksmith shop; people have said in 1926 it was a bar in front and an ice cream shop in back.

In the 1960's and 70's the business was owned by Millie and Lucky O'Gorman, they named it Lucky's Water Hole where business peaked. The O'Gorman's lived in Farmington until 2003, when Lucky passed away. Millie is now living in Escalon and doing well. Milllie recently gave Kathy an old harness collar mirror that originally hung in Lucky's Waterhole as a memorial to Lucky.

Farmington is a close knit community where people know their neighbors and look-out for one another, just as it was 175 years ago.
